- Abe Kassis has been selected for the 2021 Spanish & Portuguese Outstanding Undergraduate Research Achievement Award! He was awarded the 2021 Executive Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity for his honors thesis “LGBTQ+ Representation in 21st-Century Brazilian Cinema”. The Executive Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is one of the highest undergraduate honors in the College of Arts and Sciences.
